This email is from Chris
Bohan, a Thrive student to Leslie of the Mindd Foundation.
Dear Leslie,
Just wanted to share my experiences with Michelle Russell from Thrive foods in Melbourne .
Two of my children were found to have high mercury level, the youngest being
given a ASD diagnosis and the other showing signs of depression at the age of
10. After lots of biomedical intervention, and trying various diets (SCD,
GF/CF, GAPS) which all helped with healing a leaky gut and achieving regular
bowel motions, we started chelation to remove the mercury burden.
I read so many different Diet books that I became very confused about the best
way to Alkalise the body to enable the toxins to release.
Then I discovered Michelle (after picking up her brochure at the Victoria
Market in Melbourne)
To me it was like my prayers had been answered. She listens carefully and
answers all my questions. I took a number of private lessons which inspired me
with lots of new recipes which we enjoy as a family.
She has an incredible passion for healthy living and food and generously shares
her depth of knowledge. She runs specific Alkalising classes. She taught me how
to cook with ancients grains (buckwheat, Quinoa, Millet).
I absolute loved the cooking classes and found a friend in Michelle.
I feel that many of the Melbourne Mindd members may not be aware of Thrive foods,
which is a fantastic local resource. Would it be possible to email members with
Thrives details? Michelle has also produced a DVD of her classes. Perhaps this
is a resource that could go into the Mindd bookshop.

After 7 months of chelation I am ecstatic to say that the my children are doing
incredibly well. The mercury levels have been more than halved and are now only
slightly increased above the normal level. The youngest is well and truly out
of the ASD spectrum and her language is quickly catching up with her peers. The
10 year old couldn't be happier. This year I fully intend to document our
families journey (three years of seriously hard work) to provide a message of
hope to other families. This document will be short and include, a Melbourne help guide.
Congratulations on the incredible job that you have done with developing the
Mindd foundation.
Regards
Chris Bohan
