Traditionally we ate foods in our everyday lives that provided protection from cancer. Unfortunately with the advent of industrialization, many of these precious foods were discarded and replaced with more economically viable options. An example of this is millet. Prior to the industrial revolution, our bread was made with millet flour. Millet is a seed kernel and therefore high in the cancer preventing nutrient B17. Now our breads and cereals are made with highly refined and enriched wheat flours which contain no Vitamin B17.
