of three ‘On the Go' cooking sessions at THRIVE I feel confident, enthused and

Being a cancer survivor and
wanting to stay that way it is of paramount importance that I know that the
food I buy, the principles of food preparation and the meals I make are of the
highest quality possible.
After a diagnosis of Melanoma
I attended The Gawler Foundation where I learnt a great deal about this.
The prospect of changing a
lifetime of habits around food and its preparation for me was daunting.

Foundation provided information about THRIVE cooking classes and since then I
haven't looked back!
There are two classes,
specific to Cancer, ‘Let's get Alkalized' and a B17 class.
The sessions with Michelle at
THRIVE are so much fun and so informative.
Michelle's enthusiasm about
food is infectious and her wisdom and organization are impressive.
The cooking sessions are
hands-on and full of fun with a small group of people who share something in
common- a desire to improve their lives with healthy eating.
While I was particularly
interested in the specific sessions relating to cancer I found that all of
Michelle's classes are of benefit and each offered something new in relation to
developing a healthier lifestyle.
